Together we maintain a safe, clean and stimulating environment within which we can learn and live in harmony. We aim to promote sustainability and an awareness of wider global issues through our connected curriculum.
The EYFS(Early Years Foundation Stage)is a very important stage as it helps your child get ready for school as well as preparing them for their future learning and successes. From when your child is born up until the age of 5, their early years experience should be happy, active, exciting, fun and secure; and support their development, care and learning needs. The EYFS is a statutory curriculum for all children in England and sets out clear goals (Early Learning Goals) which children aim to achieve by the end of Foundation Stage. In Little Oaks we observe the children and plan activities which follow the childrenâs interests and discuss topics created from the Cornerstones curriculum.. An example of this might be Pirates, Dinosaurs or Princesses.
Before your child starts with us we offer the opportunity for you to come and have a look around the setting and offer settling in sessions.
We have included links below to galleries of photos of our work and what has been happening in class, copies of letters sent home and curriculum guides.
