What are the roles and responsibilities of the Designited Safeguarding Lead?

Our Designated Safeguarding Lead and Deputy Safeguarding Lead are responsibile for ensuring that our children are safe. They ensure that the child protection files are well maintained and kept up to date. They are responsible for ensuring that the information stored is kept confidential and stored securely. 

What are the roles and resposnibility of the Safeguaring Governor?

Our Safeguarding Governor keeps the board up to date with the statutory safeguarding and child protection guidance which includes any local issues. The Safeguarding Governor informs the board to any changes that may be required to ensure we remain in line with new regualtions.
